ReplyDeleteFrederick Douglass was born on February 14,1818 in Talbot County,Maryland,United States.When Frederick Douglass was 7 years old his mother passed away.Frderick's were abolitionists,author,editor and diplomat.Frderick douglass had children named charles Douglass,Rosseta Douglass,Lewis Henry Douglass & Frderick Douglass Jr..Frderick Douglass died on February 20,1895.In 1872,Douglass became the very first African-American nominated as a vice president.Frederick Douglass once said "I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong".People admire Frederick Douglass because of his hard work and for been generous.Frderick Douglass dedicated his life for ending slavery.I follow his example by being good to people.

My hero is Rosa Parks. One biographical fact about Rosa Parks is she didn't move for the front of the bus. She showed other black people that they don't have to move if they don't want to. She with to jail because of that but ever since then black people sat in the front of the bus. I think she did this toW make other black people see they can do what ever they want. Weather its the front or the back she showed them that. That is some important facts about Rosa Parks.

On December1,1995 an African Aamercan woman name Rosa Parks was riding a city bus in Montgomery, Alabama when the driver told her to give up her seat to a white man. She refused , and was arrested for violating the city racial segregation which says blacks sit in the back of the bus.After four days Rosa parks was arrested , Martin Luther King jr. spearheaded a boycoot of the city's muicipal bus company. She did all these things and that why she is my Hero!

Obama was the third african-american president.Obama defeated Senator John McCain of Arizona in the general election that November.
